Full 30-Day Warranty

This Full 30-Day Warranty is provided by Slate - Block Distractions for eligible Slate products sold through blockedbyslate.com.

It explains who is covered, what is covered, the remedies available, and how to make a claim.

1. Who and What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers each Slate Block and any magnetic wall mount sold with or added to an order through blockedbyslate.com.

Coverage follows the product during the warranty period. It applies to the original purchaser and to anyone who owns the product during that period. Proof of the original order may be required to verify coverage.

2. Warranty Period

The warranty lasts for 30 calendar days beginning on the date the product is received.

A replacement product receives a new 30-calendar-day warranty period beginning on the date the replacement is received.

3. Covered Problems

This warranty covers a product that arrives damaged or defective, or stops working under normal use during the warranty period.

Covered problems include a Slate Block that cannot perform its intended NFC function under normal use and a covered wall mount that arrives defective or cannot perform its intended mounting function under normal use.

4. Your Choice of Remedy

For a covered claim, you may choose either a full refund or a free replacement. Slate will provide your chosen remedy without charge and within a reasonable time after confirming coverage.

No return is required. A replacement is sent without additional product or standard shipping charges and ships within 5 business days after Slate confirms the replacement. If Slate cannot meet that shipping deadline, the delay process in the Shipping & Returns Policy applies.

A full refund includes the amount paid for the covered product and covered add-ons, original standard shipping, and applicable sales tax. Slate initiates the refund within 5 business days after confirming coverage. Refunds are ordinarily issued to the original payment method; if that is unavailable, contact support to arrange an available lawful alternative.

5. How to Make a Claim

Email support@blockedbyslate.com within the warranty period. State whether you want a full refund or a free replacement and describe the problem.

Include the email used at checkout and the order number, if available. Please include a clear photo of the issue when a photo can reasonably show the problem. If you are not the original purchaser, provide the original order information available to you so Slate can verify the product and coverage period.

Slate may request reasonable information needed to verify the order, the product, the problem, and coverage, and to prevent duplicate or fraudulent claims. Slate does not require a product return or impose a claim fee.

6. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or change-of-mind returns.

Examples of excluded damage include damage caused by drops, impacts, excessive heat, moisture, or opening or modifying the enclosure. Cosmetic wear that does not affect the product's intended function is also excluded.

7. Implied Warranties and Other Rights

This Full Warranty does not limit the duration of any implied warranty and does not disclaim any implied or statutory warranty.

Nothing in Slate's Terms of Service limits the remedies promised in this warranty. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.

This warranty does not limit any rights required by applicable consumer protection laws.
